Several spots had bad decking that needed to be replaced, but we also had really awful ventilation in the attic which made it extremely hot up there. While talking to various other companies almost all of them told me I was wrong about the ventilation, that they didn't want to replace all the decking, and whatever else - they never actually cared about what I wanted. CJE is the only ones who took what I wanted and made it happen. They added intake vents to the front and back of the house, they replaced all of the decking, and the roof now looks amazing. The day after the roof was completed they installed new gutters and our house has never looked better. From the initial consults to the installation, we have been happy with the service we have received. The house probably hasn't looked this good in 50 years. Update 01/16/2026 We had an issue with the gutters that CJE installed not being sloped enough to allow water to drain out. We contacted CJE with the issue and they had it resolved within a month (due to weather) with no qualms about it. They didn't push blame or try to get out of it, they just came and fixed the issue. 100% a good company that stands behind their work. 03/13/2026 We had CJE out to install a roof vent for our kitchen exhaust. They were able to accommodate our schedule and install the roof vent without issue.
